How to Handle A Rejected Proposal
Workshop Overview
Let’s face it. Just based on the amount of funding available versus the amount of proposals submitted, there is a very good chance that any proposal you submit could (and many will) get denied. It happens to the best of researchers. The trick is, what do you do with a rejected proposal? And how do you turn it around so that it is funded with your future submission?
On Monday, February 27, the Office of Proposal Development will facilitate a workshop to look at this issue. This will be a panel discussion with three successful researchers, with funding from agencies such as the NIH, NSH DOD as well as private entities. Additionally, we will have on the panel, a Program Director from the NIH Genes, Environment and Health Branch to give us an agency perspective on this issue.
Please plan to join us for this informative session.
