Collaborative Collision: Digital Health focuses on research in four key areas:
1. Wearable devices, sensors, and ambulatory monitoring
2. mHealth / eHealth interventions
3. Telehealth and telemedicine
4. Making meaning of big data from digital health tools
This networking event will gather researchers and practitioners from across FSU working with digital health technologies and their associated data, as well as clinical partners interested in supporting these efforts. The goal of this event is to help build connections and launch new research teams that will make a positive impact on our community.
Collaborative Collision focuses on each potential team member's research background and interests. Faculty researchers are asked to create a Research Profile, discussing their expertise and specific ways they can help or be helped by a collaborator or team.
You may be interested in monitoring sleep with a new device but need help deciphering the data. You might want to create a virtual version of an existing in-person health intervention, but need expertise in mobile app development. You might be interested in offering telehealth services in rural regions of Florida, but have questions about internet connectivity and privacy. This is the place to meet experts across the different domains of digital health!
For this event, Research Profiles will be printed in a booklet for each attendee to reference as they circulate through roundtable discussions. Faculty researchers should be prepared to share their expertise keywords and participate in discussions on key research questions that require interdisciplinary solutions.
