Online Polygraph

A predictive analytics approach that analyzes online communication patterns and identifies the level of trustworthiness based on dynamic, interactive, and interpersonal communication patterns between online actors. This is used for virtual communication situations where face-to-face interaction is not possible and the physiological datapoints are absent, a problem known as computer-mediated deception. The textual/linguistic features and timelags are used for predictive analytics derived from a gamification approach called ‘Real or Spiel,’ that captures interactive communication patterns.
